Here are some extra stuff and animation I did. The last one is a short video I made trying to use using only close ups. The second last one is a stop motion animation, the rest is 3D I made from a program called Maya
My Room
This project is about my dream room. Here are the various objects I have in the room; camera/tripod, TV, bed, dresser, desk/chair, cat tree, some movie poster. a movie shelf, couple night stands, and finally curtains. This a couple of weeks to model everything and animate the camera.
Objects I made
These are the objects I made (left to right) Gut’s Dragon slayer sword (Berserk), Star’s wand (Star vs The forces of Evil), The Infinity Gauntlet (Marvel/Avengers), Basic guitar. and lastly a simple glass cup.
Devilman
This model is my first attempt at making my own human looking model. I based it off the anime Devilman and tried to make it look identical. The wing movement was easy to do and use the bend tool and had it one repeat.
Hero Landing
First time animating a character, really tried to make it look natural. I always wanted to do a super hero landing because it look awesome and cool in the movies.
Bouncy Ball
First time animating an object, trying to make it look like it squash and stretch as it bounce, but I added to much frames so that is why it’s slow.
Surprise!(animation)
The is my longest 3D animation that took weeks to finish. Basically this animation about a girl walking through a forest and is attacked by a monster, and fought back. I wished I could of done more to make the movements more natural looking, but the monster model was too much to handle for the Maya program and it crashes and freeze constantly. I’m still trying to figure out on how to time my animation, and some of the movement looks slow.
The Hunt on The Pink planet (animation)
This Animation took me about 9 hours to take, and another 5 hours to plan and make the storyboard and design the characters, props and setting. I know made some mistakes in the animation, like the string that held up the blue character is showing, and some shots you see my hand. I really did try to blend the things that hold up the characters. This is my longest stop motion animation, I loved the look of the characters, and the monster, I wish I had more time to do more frames of animation but I was on a time limit at the time.
Sisters (short film)
For this project I tired to use only close ups and extreme close ups. The story is about the main character cleaning up after she murdered her sister, and contemplating her actions. This took some weeks to make, because me and my sister are both busy and try to time manage this project, plus she didn’t want to be be covered in fake blood. I edit this in adobe premiere pro, it took a few days trying to find suitable background music and sound effects and put the clips together.
Free flying (3D animation)
My first animation that I made and rig my first characters. Some scenes look a little… weird, it took me forever to figure out how to rig and skin weight it, but now it I know how easy it is. This took me more than a few week to finish, because in this animation had some thing I was trying for the first time, like the clouds, and rigging.
Studio Ibby (animation)
This was inspired by Studio Ghibli, the studio that made my favorite movies. I made this on Adobe Animate and After Affects. Doing the ink affect took me a long time to figure out because I was still figuring how masks work. I did the ink affects because I notice how in Ghibli movie they do water colour backgrounds and they always look beautiful. The cat is my pet, Ibby, shes just so cute. plus her name sound similar to ghibli.
